LONG STORY SHORT RESOURCES
"Long Story Short" is a sermon series that provides a high-level overview of the Bible's grand narrative, often focusing on the major events and characters. It aims to give us a sense of the overall story of Scripture, helping us understand how the different parts fit together. Long Story Short also emphasizes the redemptive story of God's love and plan for humanity and from Genesis to Revelation, ties it all together for one big metanarrative.
Last summer, we delved into the beginning of the sermon series Long Story Short and ended Season One with the book of Deuteronomy. This summer, we’ll begin Season Two with the book of Joshua and can’t wait for you to join us!

You have three different options to follow along with Long Story Short. There is the LSS Reading Plan, the Every Verse Reading Plan, and the Jesus Storybook Bible Reading Plan. Each week is listed below so you can choose which you want and you can even mix it up between weeks if you’d like! Each plan has its own printable so you can print them for easy access or grab one from Next Steps starting June 22nd!

Welcome to IMMERSE The Bible Reading Experience. Start with Beginnings to refresh your memory before we start Long Story Short in 2025.
If you didn’t get a Jesus Storybook Bible last year, you can purchase one from Amazon. It’s a great way to incorporate Bible stories into bedtime with your kids or even as you eat breakfast on your own!
