More on Lea Ann:
Lea Ann has deep roots in this valley! She grew up on a cattle ranch south of Buena Vista, graduated from BVHS and taught home economics in the middle/high school. She came to faith in Christ in a Sunday School class in this church when it was known as First Baptist and was baptized in the original building on San Juan. Although she and her husband, Eric, lived in England for one year and currently in Colorado Springs now for 30 years; she still loves spending time in the mountains. Being with family, hiking with friends, discipling women or curling up on the deck and reading a good book are at the top of her “favorites” list. She and Eric have 4 married children (3 in Colorado and 1 in Ohio) and 8 grandchildren and she’s always looking for ways to connect with family. “Granny” is her favorite title!
She served on the national EFCA women’s team and as the EFCA Rocky Mountain district women’s consultant. During those years God cultivated a deep passion in her for the Great Commission and to see Christ-followers living out God’s call on their lives as intentional disciplemakers. If you were to ask her what is her ‘mission’ in life, she would say “cultivating connectedness - with God, with others, and with good resources.” She is actively involved in her current church and serves as the Director of Adult Discipleship.
